Back to the grind soon...

Wow, in just short of a week I will be back to the grind! Teaching students full time, working 20 hours and JC Penneys, and tutoring two nights a week! After having a month off from the busy lifestyle, I am sure the first couple weeks will kick me in the butt!

It should only be another couple weeks and Mark will be following in my footsteps and heading back the  work force! He has been ready to go back since the day after surgery I think!

Mark New Updates

-Mark had his stint taken out. (A stint is a small tube about 7-8 inches long) that is placed in the bladder and "tube" (for lack of the medical name) to keep the opening open and keep the pressure off until it is healed.

-Staples should be coming out this week! This will be great, since Mark is itching from them. For those of you that don't know, Mark's incision is about 10 inches long!

-Mark's Concoction of Medicine that keeps him working:

  • Prograf: 7 pills in AM and 6 pills in PM-- Anti Rejection
  • Celcept: 4 pills twice a day-- Anti Rejection
  • Bactrum: 1 pill once a day--Bacteria Protection
  • Valcept: 1 pill once a day-- Virus Protection
  • Diflucan: 2 pills once a day-- Fungal Protection
  • Prednisone: 4 pills once a day-- Steriod
  • Labetalol: 1 pill twice a day - blood pressure
  • Clondine: 1 pill three times a day - blood pressure
  • Simvastatine: 1 pill once a day - cholesteral
  • Pepcid 1 pill twice a day -- to calm his stomach
Grand Total: 37

The meds list will decrease in time, but there are many of the drubs that will be in our lives forever!

It is amazing how wonderful the world of science is!
